Gas Fire Feature with suspended Hearth.

Challenge
Designer required a smooth finished polished concrete hearth wall-to-wall that did not ‘fight” the natural stone fire surround and four display shelves incorporated in the design.

Placement of hearth had to allow room for electrical fittings in including phone and IT connection on one wall below the hearth.

Result
Understated polished hearth suspended and fitting from wall to wall created the ideal partner to the natural stone fire surround.

Polished poured smooth finished concrete.

Comments
Client and designer delighted with the effect. “Sometimes we leave it uncluttered and bare, other times we have flower arrangements and at Christmas we really dress it up”.
