Ranger Applied Finishes South Canterbury Ltd have been completing painting and wallpapering for domestic and commercial clients since 1971 and proudly continue to do so. However over time our product portfolio has grown steadily and in addition to traditional painting we now offer a variety of other services ranging from roof restoration through to sophisticated industrial coatings. Many of these services are also available from Ranger Applied Finishes Ltd in Christchurch along with their floor topping systems and the Tanson Terrazzo brand.

While the range of products and services Ranger can offer has increased greatly over the years the company's greatest strength remains its highly skilled and experienced staff, many of whom have been with the company for more than 20 years. A comprehensive in-house training and mentoring programme ensures that their skills are passed onto Ranger's next generation of tradesmen as they work alongside them.

Whenever possible the Ranger Applied Finishes painters will work in with Ranger Construction on the same project, often with the flooring crew involved also. The synergy created by providing a diverse but complimentary range of trades under the Ranger company umbrella favourably impacts job quality and efficiency, and is particularly important in meeting tight deadlines. The numerous projects successfully delivered on time by Ranger for Fonterra Clandeboye are good evidence of this.

Domestic & Commercial Painting

Dulux is our preferred paint supplier however we can source any other brands specified or requested. We provide an in house tinting service and can access various colour systems to match existing colours or create swatches for proposed colour schemes.

Industrial Coatings

We have extensive experience in the application of Nuplex and Corroless epoxy coatings in harsh factory environments where durability and chemical resistance is essential.

Wall Coverings

From traditional wallpapers to fabric and heavy vinyl products by Nylex and Swinson, we can supply and install wall coverings for every possible situation.

Spraypainting & Specialist Spray Coatings

Our skilled spraypainters can create stunning and durable wall effects in public and commercial spaces using multicoloured architectural finishes such as the popular Zolatone range.

Roof Restoration & Coating

As licenced applicators of Decragard Roof Coatings since 1978 we can fully restore Decramastic, Gerrard, concrete, iron and clay tile roofs for a fraction of the cost of replacement.

Waterproofing Systems

Providing a full range of bitumen torch on, membrane and reinforced fibreglass systems capable of solving any waterproofing problem our clients bring to us.

Solid Plastering

EIFS (external insulated finishing systems) thinset plasters and other contemporary products are available along with the more traditional stucco and solid plaster finishes that we have been providing for 50 years.
